I’ve been born in raised in Sacramento, California my whole life. I love this country and all the freedoms we have in this world. What I do not understand, is the fact that gay marriages are actually allowed in this world. I acknowledge that there are lesbians and gays all over this Earth, but I do not understand why the majority of the people in the state of California voted to pass a law legalizing gay marriages. First of all, it is not natural to reproduce with two females and two males. You don’t see dogs and cats reproducing that way! So what are gay parents going to say when they come to parent teacher conference and two dads show up? Are we really saying that this is normal behavior? Whe I was growing up I lived in over fifteen houses because I had different step dads, and my family was broken. This was not normal living standards. A family needs to have a father figure as a head of household, to teach his kids the only things fathers can teach. Dads teach their kids how to survive as a man or woman. A mother is also essebtial in the development of children. They teach their kids how to be strong emotional, and sound and well rounded. Each different gender is essential in child development. I am not saying that if you apart of a single parent family that you are doomed. Ideally, a family is made, and consists with a man and a woman. I want to explain a few scenarios for a little bit. Let’s say for example, two men get married and they adopt a young child. Now this child is getting a little bit older and is now pondering how life is created. The two men are goign to have to eventually tell their apodted son that they are gay and what two males cannot create life. I could only imagine how messed up that boy or girl is going to be in the world today. That kid is going to get made fun of, picked on at school, and maybe even create violence for other kids in school. I am figuaratively writing my thoughts, but this is a theory that is very near and very close to becoming a reality. I know my mentality, and if I was getting picked upon and I had two parents of the same gender, I would think something is weird in my life. I would feel extremely bad for kids who this has happened to. Just because we have the rights to choose who we want to be with, specifically meaning gender, does not mean we should! It’s not normal! Life was not intended for two of the same people to be married, PERIOD! There should be no discussion about it. How selfish is it to marry a person of the same gender and then adopt a child and try to teach that kid it’s ok, and the child should feel totally normal? Hell No! I wouldn’t want towake up in the middle of the night to hear both my dad’s having sex. That is for sure. This is the greatest nation, and one of the best states in America, but liberty is being taken advantage of. Just because we can allow freedoms doesn’t mean we should. Have common sense people. It is very selfish to raise a child in this day and age if you are a gay or lesbian. If you aren’t trying to create a child the normal way with a man and a woman, you shouldn’t be allowed to adopt one. Did the creator intend for two guys to be married? Is reproduction made by two men or two women? No! I do not dislike gay people at all. If that is what the life they want to lead thats quite alright, but when it affects the lives of everybody around them than yes, I do care. This culture supports diversity that is so miscued that people forget what is right and wrong. If gay people want to be married because they want the benefits of regular couples I can understand that argument a little bit. I was raised Catholic and I believe in Jesus Christ. Everyone has their own beliefs and preferences. I prefer a beautiful looking woman with innocent eyes, a great body, and long legs. I do not know how someone guy can get their jollies looking at some meaty calves with long black hair but hey, to each it’s own. The main problem in our great state of California, is everyone strives to be diverse and there is no fine line on where to draw it anymore. We as Americans need to express ourselves but conduct ourselves with a little more respect and compassion in the right way. Making a statemtn by legallizing same sex marriages doesn’t prove a thing. It just makes our society look rediculous because it’s not right in my opinion. This blog is only my opinion and i am entitled to write my thoughts as a citizen of the united States. I think i earned it by joining the military. i just hope someone of similar opinions reads this and passes their thoughts on as well. Same sex marriages is not right and never should be. But hey, that is why we are free, so I can’t force anyone to do anything. I can write my thoughts, and having two parents of the same gender is WRONG!
