God Bless our Warriors in the Military
Without hesitation and arguement from our men and woman in the military, they do what few people in this world do for people in need. There is no mandatory enlistment process in the united States of America, and even though sometimes I feel there should be, there cannot be a statute forcing citizens to join. Forcing a hand to make citizens of our free country join the military would go against our freedoms as Americans. The strong values of the military are engraved in the core of all men in women who voluntarilly join the service. The various branches of the military, ranging from the Coast Guard, Homeland Security, Air Force, Navy, Army, and Marine Corps, are the elite forces and are full of men and woman who voluntarilly give up their freedoms as American citizens to join a a machine of tools working for a common goal. Freedom is something all humans should be allowed to have in this world. I admire the men and woman who have sacraficed their livelihood as American citizens to help better the lives of those who are less fortunate.
I have many friends who have enlisted in the MarineCorps and the Army Rangers. I enlisted in the Marine Corps in the summer of 2006, but got into a bit of trouble before enlisting and did not make it throughout the entire bootcamp. All the men I met while training to become a Marine I still keep contact with them in my life. i was 22 years old when I enlisted and I was looked upon as a leader of the 82 men in my barracks. I can always take the values and strength I learned from my short two months in bootcamp. I was 1st platoon leader for a duration of my service and i will never forget how well I was doing while in the Corps. On Tuesdays and thrusday we had a 2.5 mile run in the early morning right after chow. I will never forgot one of those Tuesday mornings when a fellow recruit broke his ankle while in running. Immediately, a handful of recruits helped carry him for the last stretch before he fell. Another time during history class we were watching a video of Marines running across a parking alot when the last marine fell form being shot. the marine in front of him ran back to give him aid and was shot down from the same sniper. The third marine who was in front of the second did the same and his result was also grave. This video was shown on 9/11/2006 when I was in bootcamp and i will never forget the selflessness of these men and woman and the actions that go unnoticed in our country. We as Americans need to always rememeber these are our brothers, sisters, fathers, and mothers who dedicate their lives for the good of all people. War is not right and it never will be. In death in dying, there is always anguish and pain. As long as their are individuals in this world who do not value life and liberty, there will be a need for our warriors to dedicate their lives to protect our lives. I have the freedom tho write this piece of literature right here, and share with you a few or my experiences with in dealing with marines, navy, and corspmen and woman. There is much more to tell and I believe me I will continue to share because I can. I was given this freedom the liberty to write my opinions in this country whether people agree or disagree. If you read this I hope you enjoyed it and I hope maybe today you can sacrafice something you can do without for one day. The military sacrafice more than just one thing in their daily life. The isolation, depression, and luxeries we all have in our rooms they do not have. A broken down bed, basic cable and warm beers are golden to those servicemen and woman. We sit her and complain about the little things we have. Well, we have something at least! God bless our Warriors who voluntarily dedicate their lives for us! oorah!
